year 2013 and a new dawn
Saturday March 23rd kicks off a new season with a new Captain in Corballis links club in Donabate. As i write here on march the 19th the weather is cold and snowing in some parts of ireland and the outlook is not good for sat 23rd.
If it does not put a stop to opening day our new captain Vincent Kelly will be first to hit a ball and start what promises to be a great year. The big Cavan man who is a legend in cavan who played gaa football for his beloved county is fast becoming a legend in business and who knows maybe politics and is a great fundraiser for charities but he has a hard act to follow in the shoes of the other big man Captain Joe Manning who was a great Captain in 2012.
GOOD LUCK VINCENT.

Captains Day august 29th 2008
Royal Tara is the venue for this year and a big turnout is expected, so get your names on the board early.karl Gibbons will have the honour of the first drive and begin what should be an excellent day at the holy ground in royal tara. We were very lucky with the weather so far this year in the golf outings and hopefully the sun will shine on us on the 29th.
Best of luck to karl on his big day and to all the members that attend on the day.
Go and have a look at the course on the web and plan your tactics for the day on this splendid course.
